Cyril & Violet were my Mum & Dad, they supported Abersoch Lifeboat for many years as they spent many happy holidays at Abersoch. Mum knitted toys and sold them in aid of RNLI and a cheque was sent several times a year to David Williams the treasurer of Abersoch Lifeboat Station and they were always thrilled when at Christmas they would received a Christmas card from all of the crew. A photograph of some of the toys was featured in the Spring 1997 Loafboat Magazine which I still have.
